What is love?

I didn't really know where to put this, so I put it in horror... because it has blood. Blah~

In case you can't read the text, it says:

My skin runs cold
the blood is already old
and I think to myself
Why am I treated so?
We loved
we were
but no more
I don't care if what I did is considered wrong
I love her and she loves me
if you think this is right
then you have yet to know what true love really is
my heart was hers, her heart was mine

you say you do this
to preserve and cherish love
and yet it has come to this
If this is love, then what is hate?
You tear us apart as if we are the spawn of all things evil
why...
Blood and death replace warmth and love
Why is that, I wonder with my dying thought.

Possibly corny, yes. But it gives the idea across in a subtle way (I hope)
Just don't kill me with your own religious beliefs. These are mine. Get over it.
